MONARCH
MUSIC

CONCERNED ABOUT COVID?
The gallery is very large and the chairs are spaced for distance;
Michaela has been fully vaccinated; masks are required if within six feet; students are required to clean their hands before touching the piano, and the keyboard is fully sanitized between every class.

ABOUT the STUDIO

Classes are held upstairs in the beautiful
Gill Gallery, at the Pacific Grove Art Center. Students will learn on a vintage baby grand, surrounded by ever-changing art shows
and installations.
The Art Center has been the cultural hub of charming Downtown P.G. for over 50 years; featuring art classes, ballet, community events, and 17 Artists' Studios!
Come explore its halls and get inspired!

ABOUT YOUR TEACHER
Michaela Kuenster is an illustrator and songwriter from Los Angeles, now at home on the Monterey Peninsula. Her father was Glen Campbell’s musical director for 35 years, and her uncle has played in Neil Diamond’s band for 30—she grew up backstage and on the road, as well as playing in various bands of her own since she was in high school.
She spent her 20s between the rhinestoned shows of Branson, Missouri and the two-steppin' honky tonks of Texas. After returning to Hollywood and a decade spent working in television, she realized her passion has always been music, so she moved to P.G. and decided to embrace it, full time.
She is thrilled at the opportunity to teach piano at the Pacific Grove Art Center, and to instill a life-long love of music in her students.
